Description

French 19th Century Satinwood Glove Box Featuring Steel Studs.
A beautiful little example of a French 19th century satinwood glove box dating back to c.1820. The box is a lovely size and is wonderfully shaped, it features a decorative pattern of steal pins with a cut steal handle to the centre and a mother of pearl escutcheon to the top and key. The box also has a working lock and tasselled key. We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
The box measures 19 x 8 and stands 6cm high.
