A Good Chinese Export Mahjong Set, Shanghai circa 1925

the hardwood case inlaid with bone decoration, with 'silver-metal' carrying handles and decorative floral mounts, the sliding front lifting to reveal five drawers, including a set of bone and bamboo inlaid tiles:

-36 Circles (1-9)

-36 Characters (1-9)

-36 Bamboo (1-9)

-4 Red Dragon, 4 Green Dragon, 4 White Dragon (ie Blank)

-16 Wind Tiles (North, South, East and West)

- 8 Bonus Tiles (Trees, Flowers & Fauna)

- 4 Further blank tiles, a collection of bone scoring sticks, six miniature dice in a wooden box with a sliding lid and Ming Pot with four wind discs.
