Pair of Oak Open Armchairs C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Handsome pair of 17th.c. style open armchairs c.1930. Shaped and padded backrests and generous sprung seats upholstered in a green and gold woven damask with large studs and a fringe braid. Long arms with carved acanthus detail raised on twist carved supports. Turned and block front legs with carved detail, joined with twist carved stretchers and rear legs. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
