Description

1920s Rational pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 17 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company, it has a screw on front and back which is a nice sign of quality. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use. The case back has monogrammed initials.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition with only light marking.

The dial is signed Rational, it has a couple of small surface marks to the centre although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is nice condition, with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
