Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
A 12" white painted dial with black Roman numerals and spade hands, contained within a brass bezel.
It has tastefully carved grapevine "ears" to the lower half of the case and a glass lenticle through which the pendulum can be seen working. It is a particularly attractive clock, having a very narrow surround to the dial, which always gives that extra touch of elegance. There are inspection doors to the sides and a key lockable door to the underside.
The 8 day, chain driven fusee movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
A real quality clock.
