A very nice example of an early 17thc Oak Joyned Coffer....it has three carved panels to the front with decorative foliate design,...also nice to have a planked top, so you can easily display items on the lid...... joined leaf pattern carved toprail...original wire hinges, original candle box and no replaced panels....it has gained a very good colour and being of a useful size, but not too big it is as good as they come from this early age...!
