Description

Unusual mahogany book or magazine stand by Liberty of London c.1920. Three large pockets for books etc (13½" x 2½") arranged in a cascade between shaped sides pierced with curving hand grips at the top. Carved detail to the edges of back and sides and blind fretwork to the upper dividers. Shaped bottom edge and raised on four short with carved ball and claw feet. Original label for Liberty London on the rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
