Antique Pine Blanket Box

A well proportioned 19th century antique pine trunk or blanket box. The antique pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box to the left hand side. The trunk has decorative brass handles to either side. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. A particularly good size trunk that would be ideal for use as a coffee table.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, staining, and remnants of a previous stained finish (pictured). The antique pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. The handles are later replacements and are for decorative purposes only - not for use as carrying handles. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
