Description

A fine pair of silver plated wine coasters. Marked for celebrated maker Elkington & Co with a date letter for 1852. Beautiful turned wooden bases with a crested central button. Fantastic cast vine leaf and grape decoration to the edges.

The condition is very good overall with no dents or splits. The plating is in very good condition with some minor discoloration to the vine decoration.

Weight approx 1kg.

Diameter approx 19.5cm.

Internal diameter approx 13cm.
