Christofle, Paris - Gallia Champagne Bucket / Wine Cooler - Art Deco Period

A rarely found model with it''s footed base and two very elegant scroll handles, this silver plated champagne bucket was made by the top-notch Parisian silver and goldsmith''s, Orfèvrerie Christofle as part of their highly collectable Gallia range.
 
It is fully marked on the underside, OC either side of the chess mark and the GALLIA mark.
 
Just back from our silversmith''s workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it''s former glory.
 
10 3/4'' handle to handle x 7 1/2'' x 9'' tall.
