For your consideration is this fabulously stylish Art Deco Gents 1942 BULOVA SENATOR Gents Watch .Very good vintage condition throughout. The dial is the real hero of this watch and any Art Deco fan will appreciate the numerals which can't be mistaken for any other era or style, it's a true delight. Completely original no over painting or restoration. The dial itself is a very attractive salmon colour and contrasts very stylishly with the yellow rolled gold casing.

In the restoration of this watch a new crystal, new winding crown, new mainspring, and new soft high quality leather strap have been added . Ultrasonically cleaned case. Serviced, cleaned and oiled, adjusted and regulated. Keeping good time.

Size: 22mm x 34mm (smaller watch size than modern ones of today, would equally suit a lady). Should fit a wrist size of 160mm to 185mm.

Yellow rolled gold/gold filled with stainless steel back. Case back stamped BULOVA QUALITY plus serial number starting with 2, so with this particular movement it signifies a production date of 1942.

Movement: 17 jewel 8AH. Date code stamp is not very legible, but this calibre is correct era and was used in this model.

This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. The case back is free of any engravings, shows no wear-through to the gold.
