A rare designer recipe cocktail shaker, Italian in origin by MACABO CUSANO MILANINO and dating to c.1940.

The base swivels around to the cocktail designed and then the ingredients are listed in the windows below. The top of the cocktail shaker when removed reveals a lemon squeezer or reamer. The cocktail recipes included are: Orange Blossom, Side Car, Manhattan, Tom Collins, Alexander, Bacardi, Bronx, Dry Martini, Whisky Sour, Dubonnet

It is just back from our silversmith who had overhauled and restored it to it's former glory with gilded windows. This example is lucky enough to have an integral lemon squeezer / reamer, always highly sought-after.

The underside is where the makers mark can be found and "Made In Italy". In superb condition measuring 3 3/4" in diameter x 8 3/4" tall.
