Large 19th C. Moser Turquoise Opaline and Gilt Glass Scent Bottle, Circa 1890

Description

This superb, and unusual by its large size, enamelled Moser opaline glass scent bottle circa 1890. The opaque turquoise glass body heightened with trailing flower gilt motifs. Both lid and pot painted in gilt with number 8, confirming they are the right match for each other.

Dimensions:

Height: 14.5cm / 5.5 inches.

Base diameter: 7cm / 2.6 inches.

Condition:

Glass body in very good condition.

Gilt decorations in very good condition, a little faded at the neck.
