Large 19th Century French Gilt Overmantel Mirror

Description

This is a very attractive 19th century French overmantel mirror with gilt decoration.

The frame is timber with gesso covered in original gilt decoration that has worn beautifully over the years to show a lovely red colour coming through which really sets the piece off.

The mirror plate is totally original and has an amazing sparkle to it with a few areas of foxing as well.

Overall condition is very good with no major faults. Great size and will add a lot to a room.
