The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Gilt band around the foot and rim and repeating acanthus motifs along the back and top of the handle with further gilding to the edges. Red painted mark to the base, c.1815 and gilder's number 44.
It measures 7cm (2 3/4") high to the handle and 6.5cm (2 5/8") rim to rim.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minor gilt wear to the rim.
