Georgian Bilston Enamel Miniature Patch Box

18th century
Description

A lovely example of a Georgian patch box dating from the late 18th Century. It is enamel and has a white lid with a wonderful motto "A Friends Gift". The bottom half of the box is a pale blue colour and the interior is white.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use but no major cracks or damages and nothing detrimental.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
