Description

A William IV silver-gilt table snuff box, by the sought-after maker Nathaniel Mills. The curved sides, lid and thumb piece with outstanding quality floral decoration. The base with machine turned decoration. The lid plain to receive a presentation inscription, crest or monogram, having no signs of thinning suggesting an erasure of a previous inscription.
Condition: In amazing antique condition, the decoration wonderfully crisp. With some wear to the silver gilt on the lid.
Maker: Nathaniel Mills Birmingham 1833
Dimensions: 78 x 52 x 26mm. 127g.
