Description

A smart Minton porcelain coffee can, c.1805-1810 with ring handle and decorated with a frieze of a stylised running gilt vine with red enamel bellflowers. Framed with gilt bands and further gilt decoration to the rim, above the foot and the handle. Painted mark to the base with pattern number 500.

It measures 6.3cm (2 1/2") and 7.8cm (2 5/8") rim to rim.

In very good condition with just very minor wear to the gilt on the rim. A couple of very small areas of kiln spotting and a small area of discolouration on the inside of the base.
