A Sampson Morden Victorian Silver Mounted Scent Bottle

A fine Victorian silver mounted scent bottle, by the great Sampson Morden. This lovely and attractive piece is of tapering 'flask' form, with porthole cutting through the blue flashed body. The silver lid is hinged and decorated with repousse foliar designs and bears the Maker's name around the collar. Inside there is a fitted glass stopper. A lovely collector's item, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass and no splits or dents to the silver.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked (not unusual for Victorian silver mounts). Maker's name to collar.

Diameter :- 3 cms. (widest point).
