Description

A large and heavy silver plated soup tureen. Marked to all sections for Padley Parkin & Co of Sheffield (1849-1855). With gadrooned edging and a removable handle. Standing on four stylised feet. A truly impressive table centrepiece.

The condition is very good with no dents or splits. Virtually no plate wear and a very clean interior. Slight scuff marks to the handles due to repeated use.
