Ebonised & Amboyna Wine Table C.1860.

Description

Fine quality mid 19th.c. ebonised mahogany wine table c.1860. 26" diameter top with beautifully figured amboyna wood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern at the centre. On mahogany groundwork, the ebonised border with carved detail, a moulded edge and applied gilded brass bead. Raised on turned and tapering columns with segmented bases and reeded detail. Tripod legs also carved and with a large turned finial at the centre (also with a brass bead edge). Note the carved detail highlighted in gold. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
