Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It is of fine quality, very useful and practical size. It would be equally useful as a desk, a side table or dressing table. The top, sides and back are figured walnut, the drawer fronts are burr walnut.
This has a beautiful colour and striking grain patterns throughout. The back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
