A delightful Georgian walnut frame mirror c1760. The walnut frame is typical of the early to mid 18thc, with a scalloped diamond shape, a tiered carved frame and teardrop at the base. Consistent with age the frame has some horizontal splits, typical of walnut of this age. There has been minor reglueing of the split pieces and a polish. Otherwise the condition is good, lovely patina and an unopened back. This 18thc mirror is as pretty and genuine as they com.
