The door porter with scrolling leaves, rising to meet the rope twist centre of the loop handle. The long shank decorated with rising leaves, joining to the hairy ankles of the lions paw base. The reverse interior with conforming cast iron loading.

Depth 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
Date circa 1840.
