This is an antique linen press. An English, mahogany bedroom tallboy cabinet with chest of drawers below, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Beautifully presented cabinet of usefully narrow proportion

Displays a desirable aged patina throughout

Select stocks show fine grain interest to all sections

Delightful rich russet hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

Wide reverse tiered crown moulding stands prominently above the whole

Arranged as a press cupboard over a suite of four graduated drawers

Two field panel doors give access to the cupboard within, replete with a full-width shelf

Dressed with a small brass oval lock escutcheon — in working order, key present

Each full-width drawer dressed with a pair of decorated brass oval drop handles

Locks present to each drawer front with discrete escutcheon - in working order

With dovetail joints and cockbeading detail, each drawer box is pleasingly solid and robust

Standing upon dashing shaped bracket feet to each corner
