Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
A beautifully polished oak case, retaining it's original French-polished finish.
There are glazed panels to the sides through which the movement can be seen.

The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with black engraved Roman numerals interspaced with star clusters. The outside minute ring has 5 min Arabic numerals. There are gilt spandrels to the corners and subsidiary rise & fall and STRIKE/SILENT dials to the top

The 8 day movement strikes with a double "ting-tang" to the quarters and the no. of hours on the hour with a beautifully crisp resonating tone. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts & labour guarantee. It is signed with the makers logo.
A beautiful Clock in superb condition.
