A 19th century bone alphabet and spelling set. There are approx 160 bone alphabet letters, approx five of each with extra vowels and the unusual addition of two ampersands.
Housed in a mahogany box with a divided interior. The lid has a bone inlaid plaque with Spelling, Alphabet.
The box measures 16cm w x 12cm d x 3cm h.
