Antique Swedish Biedermeier Satin Birch Dining Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful and rare antique Swedish dining table in Satin Birch. This was made in Sweden, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period or possibly earlier.

It is beautifully designed and is in the classic Biedermeier style. There are two extension leaves that are stored beneath the top and are pulled out from each end to extend this to seat 8-10 people. The quality is excellent, with lovely curved and a stretchered base.

The condition is very good for its age, we have given this a clean and fresh polish. There are various small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

Width – 51 inches , 130 cm

Width open – 91 inches , 231 cm

Depth – 41 inches , 105 cm

Height – 31 inches , 79 cm
