French Provincial Oak Fauteuil Circa 1780

18th century
Description

Grand french provincial oak fauteuil armchair raised on well turned legs united with similar turned stretchers. The open arms supported with turned uprights. Fully upholstered raked back. All in fine original condition with no breaks or repairs and is solid. A most comfortable chair. The old upholstery is a little worn. Great colour to wood frame with fine waxed patina.

Size; 39" high, 25" wide, 28" deep. 17" seat height.
