Victorian Chemist or Apothecary Jar, Circa 1890

Description

This Victorian Apothecary jar is in excellent condition and comes with its original stopper. The gilt edged enamel label in equally good condition.

It has a rather charming inscription (Latin for cochineal) and a wide aperture. Would be ideal to store bath salts.

Height: 19cm / 7.4 inches.

Diameter: 8cm / 3 inches.
