David Pickett Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It bears two fantastic coat of arms in inlaid silver cartouches, with the motto 'Je dis la verite'. Stunning heavy quality with removable tureen and particularly ornate twist handle.
The condition is very good with no major dents and the plating is in very good order. The serving tureen has signs of wear / a few scratches to the interior, as to be expected due to use. A slight scuff mark surrounding the twist handle.
