A George V era silver vesta case with hallmarks for Birmingham 1919 and makers mark for Joseph GLOSTER Ltd. The lid is also hallmarked. The vesta case is chased all over with scrolls of foliage, possibly acanthus leaves, and the central shield bears the initials EAJ, italicised. The case is gilt lined. The striker at the base is clean and unworn. In excellent condition, a fine clean piece.
