A fine quality small, 10" fusee dial clock. A mahogany case of good colour and patination with a brass bezel surround. Blued steel spade hands. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism,

John Lewis of London is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in 1857. These smaller 10" fusee dial clocks a much rarer!

Overall Width 12" / 31 cms Dpeth 6" / 15 cms.
