Description

Very smart French walnut bookcase c.1900. Two long doors with arch top glazed upper panels over blind storage below, fitted inside with four adjustable shelves (internal depth 12" though note none shelf is 8? deep). Crisp moulded cornice with a dental frieze, turned fluted and twist carved faux columns. Carved spandrels to the doors, carved centre trim and decorative brass escutcheons. Bevelled glass and quarter veneered lower panels with carved edge moulding (also featured on the cornice). Superior quality with solid oak groundwork and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied. Note this bookcase can be disassembled into flat sections for delivery. Ideal for rooms with restricted access.
