N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the Regency era.
This beautiful antique clock has a fabulous rococo style ormolu case made of gilt bronze. The case has a wonderful hour glass shape with exquisitely detailed, scrolling floral design.
A truly beautiful example of the upmost quality and a very rare and hard to find design for a fusee time piece.

The dial is then gilt and set out in black, painted roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking out the minutes via small black dashes. The centre of the dial then has a wonderfully detailed, engine turned pattern which gives it a fantastic look. Finally the dial has a wonderful patterned surround and is finished by two beautifully shaped hands.

The movement is then chain fusee and of the upmost quality. It is ticking away as it should and comes complete which its pendulum which can be fully regulated as well as its winding key. The movement also comes complete with its travel nut.

A truly fantastic and unique piece of the highest quality that would look fantastic in any home or as part of a larger collection.
