This superb and ornately detailed George III mahogany bureau bookcase is decorated throughout with swags, musical instruments and rams heads inlaid with satinwood. The top section has 3 fully adjustable shelves contained behind a pair of cupboard doors (lockable, key supplied). It is topped by a broken-arch swan neck pediment. The base section has a fitted bureau over an arrangement of 2 short , over 3 long, graduated drawers. The bureau fall is lockable (key supplied) and opens to reveal an interior fitted with pigeon holes, stationary drawers and a small central lockable cupboard.
