Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The cornice features a gadrooned pelmet and the door has a lunette carved frieze. It has a working lock and key and 2 removable carved shelves to the interior. It is a hanging corner cabinet but could also be a standing corner cabinet as it is stable and stands up on its own. A really excellent example.
