Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The quality is excellent, this is beautifully made with a gorgeous design.
The condition is very good for its age, with just some wear and minor distressing to the silvered backs on the edges. One of the tiny decorative screw caps is missing and one has a little damage, both seen in the images but hardly noticeable at all in real life.
Please don’t confuse this with all the new reproductions out there being passed off as antique. This is the real deal.
