Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A smart and useful large bow front Georgian chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1810-1830 period.

This is very well made and is a great size, with lots of storage space. It has lovely turned solid mahogany handles and sits on splayed bracket feet. The drawers are graduated in depth, with fine dovetails & all with locks.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations here and there under the polish, commensurate for age. This has a gorgeous colour tone and wonderful patina acquired over the past two hundred years.
