Description

Fantastic and hard to find long-drop earrings featuring faceted onyx spheres bisected by slices of clear rock crystal quartz. Set in sterling silver and adorned with tiny twinkling marcasites. The nice sturdy ear wires and the backs of the top sections are nine-carat gold.

Likely dating from the Edwardian into early Art Deco period (1910s-20s).

Overall in very good antique condition; one of the quartz slices has been neatly repaired, though this hangs facing the back so the repair is not very visible when the earrings are worn (see photos).

5.4 x 1.2cm (over two inches long). One is slightly longer than the other.
