Description

This is a stunning 19th century farmhouse dining table made of Linden wood. Linden wood is native to Provence in the south of France and I have never seen it used on such a large table as this.

The timber has a fabulous pale colour to it with an attractive patina all over. The edge planks aswell have a very tactile smooth feel from years of use.

The size of this table makes it ideal for 8-10 people and although stretchered at the ends it would be fine for someone to sit at and put their legs over.

Structurally solid and a very attractive piece of country furniture.
