Description

This is a very stylish early 20th century French desk. The quality is superb as is the overall condition.

The finish is like a piano lacquer and us very thick with a great sheen to it. This is emphasised by the deep red leather top and pull out shelves.

The whole piece is just so elegant that it really would fit well into any interior. The brass capped feet and pulls lift the whole piece beautifully.

The front of the desk has 4 drawers (Right side is a single double drawer) all with working locks and the piece comes with the original key.

The reverse has the same configuariton of drawers but these are false. What got me about this piece was its quality. Very high level of attention to detail and overall a very well designed piece of furniture.
