Very nice Japanese Edo (early 19thC) four-case inro depicting village rooftops in gold maki-e with hiramaki-e and takamaki-e. The interior is decorated in nashiji. Comes with a nice porcelain ojime. Unsigned.

Height 9cm, width 4.5cm, depth 3cm
Excellent condition, no damage and very little sign of wear.
