Description

A fine and decorative Gothic Revival pitch pine hanging wall cupboard. The cupboard is beautifully constructed with two galleried shelves above a double door cupboard with working lock and key. The whole is made of pitch pine with a great original colour and patina. The two cupboard doors are inset with original chromolithograph gothic diptych prints under glass, showing a King and Queen with their retinues. The top shelf retains the original tooled and gilded leather trim. The whole is a beautifully decorative and original piece of unusual Gothic Revival furniture. C.1870.
