Description

Circa 1897-1898 a brass candle holder or chamber stick made by Joseph Shankey & Sons of Birmingham, with their trade mark on the side and a registration number on the base.

It measures 17cm at the widest part, 7cm in height and the base is approximately 14cm in diameter. It will take 2.5cm in diameter candles

There are no signs of damage or repair on the candle holder just a few age related dark marks on the brass otherwise.
