Antique silver half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the three covers. The front cover is in good condition and has a small central lens surrounded by Roman numerals. There is a flat bruise to the side, less than 1cm long, not too serious. The case back has general light surface marks and some unevenness.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The dial has lever set blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed. There is a hairline crack running from number 3 to number 8.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
