An intersting and unusual 18th.C. style Spanish Vargueno converted cocktail cabinet. The solid oak framed cabinet having dovetailed joints with polished top and sides. The drop down fall having a heavily embossed leather front decorated with hand painted mythical dragons, flowers and a central chalice. The outer edge decorated with large brass studs and shield shaped escutcheon & key. The interior with mirrored back, floor and a shaped shelf. The fall lined with tooled brown leather with shaped brass hinges. The base having bobbin and baluster turned supports with carved arched cross stretcher and the whole raised on sledge feet with carved toes. Dimensions:- Height…55’’/ 140cm. Width…40.5’’/ 102.5cm.
