RARE 18th Century Gilt Bronze Pierre Gouthiere Wall Light Poppies . From at least the mid 1770's Goutherie had been proposing two sizes of poppy wall lights to is clients. This wall light was intended for the large gallery-salon of Louise Jeanne de Durfort, Duchess of Mazarin's Hotel, Hotel Particulier. It has the the most amazing poppy branches with numerous flowers almost every one distinct.
