Description

1941 Bulova mid-size wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 7AH, which is working nicely. This calibre of movement was in production from 1928 until 1942, the date code on this particular movement dates it back to 1941.

The watch measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 33mm high excluding the lugs so classed as a mid-size piece. The main body of the case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is general surface marking but it is fairly light and overall the condition is very acceptable for a piece from the early 1940s.

The lens has a 5mm scratch but otherwise looks good.

The signed dial is in its original two tone finish with original hands and sunken subsidiary seconds dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
