Description

A fantastic wide Victorian hinged sterling silver cuff with a lovely antique patina. The elaborately detailed front is engraved with beautiful crisp detail and embellished with applied yellow gold and rose gold. A very wearable piece.

Marked VAUGHTONS PATENT. Vaughton's was an English manufacturer based in Birmingham, England, and well known for its silverware.

The bracelet is in very good antique condition; generally minor surface wear consistent with normal antique usage, there is a slight dent to the back at one side but it's not overly noticeable. Opens nicely and closes securely, both the hinge and clasp are in perfect working order.

Size: Internal circumference is approx seven inches; width 2.5cm rising to 3.8cm at the front.
